
VP – HornerXpress Worldwide
Gretchen began her journey with HornerXpress® in 1993 as a Warehouse Associate in Fort Lauderdale. She soon made history as the company’s first female driver, paving the way for others with her determination and strong work ethic. Gretchen later transitioned into Customer Support, where she discovered her passion for building relationships and supporting customers.
Following her time in Customer Support, Gretchen joined AutoPilot® as Customer Service Manager, further expanding her industry knowledge and leadership experience. After a short break—what we proudly call a “boomerang” moment—she returned to HornerXpress, stepping into the role of Account Manager for the Fort Lauderdale branch.
In 2017, Gretchen was given the opportunity to open HornerXpress’s first branch in the Palm Beach market, building it from the ground up. Through her dedication and focus on customer relationships, that branch grew into a model of success and teamwork. Her leadership and commitment to excellence led her to become Area Branch Manager for the Palm Beach, Treasure Coast, and Space Coast regions.
In late 2025, Gretchen was promoted to General Manager of HornerXpress Worldwide to apply her expertise to international markets. Shortly after, in January 2026, Gretchen was asked to step in to the Vice President role to continue the mission of helping customers grow their businesses globally while carrying forward the Team Horner® spirit of integrity, collaboration, and service.
