Commercial pool operators all over the world have chosen AutoPilot® Salt Chlorine Generators because guests prefer the pleasant sensation of naturally healthy water. Unlike other sanitation alternatives, AutoPilot® uses a low level of natural salt that is converted to 100% pure chlorine through the process of electrolysis.

The Pool Pilot® Professional offers the convenience and safety of onsite chlorine generation for any commercial pool. The need for storing large supplies of hazardous chemicals is eliminated. Additionally, equipment corrosion in pump rooms and filter houses will be tremendously reduced.

Benefits of the Pool Pilot® Professional

  • Improves air quality by eliminating chloramines and other nasty chlorine effects
  • Salt is environmentally friendly and its conversion is energy efficient
  • Long lasting system lowers the cost of operation
  • Pool water feels luxuriously soft and silky

Power Supply Features

  • Models range from 8 lbs to 28 lbs of chlorine production per day (151 to 529 g/h)
  • Large LCD indicates
    • Salinity, cell volts, water temperature, output settings, etc.
    • Notifications for low salt, water temperature, flow, etc
  • Precision toroidal salt sensor never needs calibration
  • Automated salinity control capability
  • Industrial grade, water-cooled, switched-mode power supply
  • input control can be used with a chemical feed controller or in manual operation

Cell Features

  • Patented single cell technology
  • Normal operating range of 3,500 – 5,000 ppm (mg/L) salt
  • Self cleaning (reversing) 15,000-hour cell electrode stack
  • Clear reaction chamber for easy visual inspection
  • 4 mm plate spacing designed for commercial applications
  • Only 20 gpm (4.54 m3/h) flow required

Specifications

  • Certifications: NSF-50, UL-1081, CSA-C22.2
  • Multiple cell installations require the cells to be plumbed in parallel (not in series).
  • Each cell housing is plumbed using a bypass to achieve the 20 gpm (4.54 g/h) of flow required to meet the rated chlorine production.
  • The power supply water-cooling lines are plumbed from the return line to the pump suction using 3/8” tubing. If a chemical feed controller is being used then the same tubing line can be used for both.
