Important "Recall" Notice
Dear AutoPilot Owner:
This notice is to inform you of a "Corrective Action Plan" (CAP) for the AutoPilot manufactured Salt Chlorine Generator you purchased. The affected products are those manufactured and installed from June 1, 2001 through June 1, 2005.
Reason for Recall
The exterior plastic cover on the wall mounted power supply lacks adequate flame resistance. In the presence of an ignition source, this cover could catch fire.
What AutoPilot Will Do
AutoPilot will supply you a free replacement cover of adequate flame resistance rating. Simple visual instructions will accompany each replacement housing. In addition, AutoPilot will supply a toll free number for those who require additional assistance.
What You Should Do
Using the following identification photos, you should determine whether your unit is one of the affected models covered by this Corrective Action Plan. If you should have difficulty determining which product you have or are unsure, you may call for assistance from an AutoPilot representative at 866.773.3266. If you have already completed the upgrade please click here to fill out the completion notice.
If you determine that this upgrade should be applied to your Salt Chlorine Generator, you should fill out the form below. We will then arrange to ship you the free replacement cover required to remedy this potential hazard.
This upgrade should take about ten minutes to complete and requires no additional tools.
