AutoPilot Education
AutoPilot is the largest salt chlorine generator manufacturer for pools and spas in the world. And for this reason, we take pride in our educational system. We believe every technician, installer and dealer should be versed and skilled in their chlorine generator knowledge.

Flight School for the Field Service Technician - Salt Chlorine Generators
Provider #004-0001103     Course #0010599

This seven (7) hour program is CEU-approved by the State of Florida, and is designed for pool and spa service professionals already engaged in the business of installing, troubleshooting, and repairing pool & spa equipment. To participate fully, some knowledge of basic electricity (and corresponding use of electrical test meters) is helpful.

Course material is specific to AutoPilot chlorination systems. Flight School is conducted monthly at the St. Petersburg, FL, AquaCal AutoPilot factory.

Heat Pump Sales and Sizing Seminar - Hot Shot School
Provider #004-0001084     Course #0009714

Hot Shot School is a 1-day seminar, held at the St. Petersburg, FL, AquaCal site. The seminar material is structured to provide an overview of swimming pool heat pump principles, and a basic introduction to how heat pumps work. While some of the material is "mildly" technical, the presentation is non-technical in nature. Visuals, pass around examples, and handouts–fully explained by an experienced and knowledgeable instructor — enable all attendees to come away with an elementary understanding of heat pump principles. While it is helpful for the attendee to have some previous knowledge of swimming pool installations, this knowledge is not mandatory; likewise, to attend, one need not possess a previous understanding of heat pumps or refrigeration principles.

While Hot Shot is geared towards Swimming Pool Contractors (dealers)–with Six (6) State of Florida approved continuing education credits being awarded for attendance — any Team Horner member having a need to learn more about heat pumps would benefit from attending a Hot Shot presentation.

Lunch and refreshments are provided, as is an AquaCal factory tour.
